Uses of hydroxypropyl methacrylate:
This product is copolymerized with other acrylic monomers to prepare acrylic resins containing active hydroxyl groups. With melamine formaldehyde resin, diisocyanate, epoxy resin, etc., a two-component coating is prepared. This product is also used as an adhesive for synthetic textiles and as an additive for decontamination lubricants.
It is used as reactive diluent and cross-linking agent in radiation curing system, also as resin cross-linking agent, plastic and rubber modifier.
Acrylic resins, acrylic paints, textile adhesives and decontamination lubricant additives.
It can be used to produce thermosetting coatings, adhesives, fiber treatment agents and modifiers for synthetic resin copolymers. It can also be used as one of the main crosslinkable functional group monomers used in acrylic resins.
It is mainly used as the main raw material for acrylic resin, acrylic paint, textile treatment agent, adhesive and decontamination and lubricating additives.
Production method of hydroxypropyl methacrylate:
It is derived from the reaction of methacrylic acid and propylene oxide.
